It started with a Monstera Albo that arrived from an online 'rare plant' seller looking nothing like the photos — smaller, barely variegated, and shipped bare-root in a plastic bag during a January cold snap. It survived, barely, but the experience stuck with us. We'd spent three years buying from local shows and online groups, and too many of those purchases ended the same way: a plant that didn't match its listing, or one that never recovered from the trip.

So we started growing out our own stock instead of dropshipping other people's cuttings. Every plant on telovendo spends at least a few months in our care before it's listed, which means we can show you exactly what you're getting — current leaf count, current size, current variegation, not a photo pulled from someone else's catalog. Shipping is built around the plant, not the invoice: heat packs below 40°F, moss-wrapped root balls, and boxes sized so nothing shifts in transit.

We still pack every order ourselves, and we still answer the plant-care emails personally. If something arrives wrong, we'd rather replace it than argue about it.
